Oh India ...

The time in this country was disturbing and overwhelmingly beautiful at the same time.
I spend a lot of time researching the roots and myth of yoga to gain deeper understanding and knowledge.
I thought, where, if not in india, could i find out more.

However, the choice of my yoga school was a mistake.
Our main teacher Chloe was great! She had a great knowledge about the anatomy of the human body, was able to teach us new and very creative techniques for setting up Yoga classes, put a lot of emphasis on Sanskrit and made a lot of effort in teaching us.
However, all other classes, such as Ayurveda lifestyle, philosophy, meditation, pranayama and kriyas were very disappointing for an advanced course.
I had already learned the entire course content in my basic training. Several incidents during the course have worried me. Day by day I realized more and more, that this school just want to make money behind the mask of Yoga. Only business is important. The spirit of Yoga was lost. I had big struggle with this and some arguments with the teachers.
It made me so sad, that even in India the spirit of Yoga is fading away. For me it is so important to honor the roots of this sacred teaching.
Because of all that, the rest of the time during the course was not so easy. I was often on the verge of breaking off the course, but to my delight, I had good friends at my side, which have sweetened my time.
In the end, though, I'm satisfied because I've learned some new techniques to design creative Yogaclasses.
And in terms of tradition, culture, myth and philosophy ... I have had many great conversations with the locals, whish have been happy to tell me about their culture & traditions. This country has a very special energy. The people I met were wonderful!
As well as the scents, the animals, the colors, the food, the beaches and the hidden places. And the next trip to India will sure coming soon! 😍 😁
